  • Proven Track Record: Built 25 years of hands-on leadership and business acumen in the demanding environment of the Department of Defense’s acquisition and human resources communities, across both active duty and civilian roles.
  • Passion for Learning: Enrolled in a Master’s for Strategic Communications and I hold a Master’s in Management, I’m an Air War College graduate, with multiple professional certifications…in other words, I’m committed to ongoing professional development in the fields of business and leadership.
  • Experience + Education = Expertise: Real-world challenges shaped my ability to be a highly effective manager and leader. I understand the complexities you face because I’ve navigated them myself.
  • Teacher at Heart: 18 years of experience sharing knowledge, with a passion for empowering others that translates directly into my coaching approach.

This great adventure hasn’t always been easy, but it’s been worth every minute!

 Here are some fun facts about me:

  1. According to the Clifton StrengthsFinder Assessment, my top 5 strengths are Strategic, Futuristic, Individualization, Activator, and Positivity.
  2. According to the Myers-Briggs 16 personalities version, I’m an ENFJ-A, a protagonist. Only 2% of the population are protagonists, and my son happens to be one, too!
  3. According to my clients – I’m empathetic, perceptive, and straightforward. I bring a vast knowledge base and a different perspective to the table to help you succeed.
  4. According to my friends, I am a good shoulder to cry on and the devil’s advocate when needed.
  5. And finally, according to my 20-year-old son, he can talk to me about anything and not feel “weird.”
  6. I love to do paint-by-number pieces, DIY home improvement projects, cook, and go to heavy metal/hard rock concerts whenever I can in my spare time. I did the “Badass Women” painting posted in the gallery, along with photos of my kids and puppas.


And now for some extremely personal facts:

While I usually reserve personal details for later in a coaching relationship, I believe it’s important for my clients to know I can empathize with a wide range of life experiences. I’ve faced significant challenges, including the loss of my daughter, divorce, and a long-term health battle with Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis. Through these experiences, I’ve gained resilience, perspective, and an ability to support others facing their own tough journeys.

My son, Lex, family and friends, my business, and my little fur-babies, Tony and Carmela, give my life joy and purpose. I’m here to listen and provide you clear and solid guidance on your business and leadership path, understanding that it may involve personal complexities.  My own life has certainly shaped my understanding of perseverance and the ability to find fulfillment even in the midst of difficulty.
